1 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 ounces marshmallows

3 cups Rice Krispies cereal

# Steps to Follow:

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir continuously until fully dissolved and smooth.

Remove the saucepan from heat and fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.

Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Transfer the mixture into the dish and press evenly with a rubber spatula.

While the mixture is still warm, distribute the red, white, and blue sprinkles evenly across the surface and gently press them in.

Allow the mixture to cool completely, then use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out individual treats.

Melt the red and blue candy melts along with the white chocolate in the microwave at 50% power, stirring every 30 seconds until mostly melted.

Drizzle the melted candy melts and white chocolate over the star-shaped treats using a piping bag or a sandwich bag with a small corner cut off.
