# What You'll Need:

→ Meat

01 - 1 pound ground beef

→ Produce

02 - 1/2 cup finely diced white onion
03 - 1 clove garlic, minced

→ Condiments

04 - 2 tablespoons ketchup
05 - 1 tablespoon yellow mustard

→ Dairy

06 - 8 cubes American cheese

→ Bakery

07 - 12 jumbo biscuit dough pieces

→ Toppings

08 - Dill pickles, shredded lettuce, and additional diced onion, as desired

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Cut each biscuit dough piece in half and press flat to form thin rounds.
02 - Grease a standard muffin tin, then press each flattened biscuit half firmly into the sides of individual muffin cups.
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat; add ground beef and diced onion. Cook, stirring frequently, until beef is browned and onions are translucent. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
04 - Mix ketchup, mustard, salt and freshly ground pepper into the beef mixture, then remove from heat.
05 - Place one to two cubes of American cheese into each biscuit-lined muffin cup.
06 - Distribute cooked beef mixture evenly among the biscuit-lined cups over the cheese.
07 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake cups for 6 to 7 minutes.
08 - Remove cups from oven, add another cheese cube on top of each beef-filled cup.
09 - Return cups to oven and bake for an additional 7 to 8 minutes until cheese melts and biscuit edges are golden brown. Cool slightly before removal.
10 - Remove cups from muffin tin and serve warm, topped with dill pickles, shredded lettuce, and additional diced onions as desired.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For a lighter variation, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. Biscuit dough may be replaced by crescent roll dough, though molding will require extra attention. Leftover cups freeze well; cool completely before sealing in freezer bags for up to one month.
