01 -
Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Add ground beef and diced onion, breaking up the meat with a spoon. Cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is fully browned and no pink remains. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
02 -
Return the skillet to heat. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients. Simmer for 5 to 8 minutes over medium heat until sauce is thickened and rich in flavor.
03 -
Arrange frozen garlic toast slices in a single layer on a large baking sheet, spacing evenly for even crisping.
04 -
Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C). Spoon an even portion of hot sloppy Joe mixture onto each garlic toast slice. Top each with shredded cheddar cheese. Transfer to oven and bake for 10–15 minutes, until the bread is golden and the cheese is fully melted and bubbling.
05 -
Remove from oven and allow to cool briefly before serving. Enjoy while the cheese is gooey and the toast remains crisp.
