Ham Cheese Pinwheels (Printer-Friendly Version)

Flaky puff pastry pinwheels with ham, cheese, olives, and sweet chili sauce. Perfect warm or cold.

# What You'll Need:

→ Pastry

01 - 1 sheet chilled pre-rolled puff pastry (approximately 9x9 inches)

→ Condiments

02 - 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce

→ Meat

03 - 4 ounces thinly sliced ham

→ Cheese

04 - 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

→ Garnish

05 - 2 tablespoons finely chopped pitted olives (green or black)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll the chilled puff pastry sheet onto a clean, flat surface.
03 - Evenly spread Thai sweet chili sauce over the entire surface of the pastry, leaving a small border along edges.
04 - Layer the ham slices evenly over the sauced pastry, followed by an even sprinkling of shredded mozzarella and chopped olives.
05 - Carefully roll the pastry tightly from one edge to the other, forming a log approximately 9 inches long. Slice the roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
06 - Place the pinwheels cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
07 - Allow the pinwheels to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving warm or at room temperature.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For best results, use pitted olives to avoid excess moisture and ensure even rolling.
02 - Pinwheels can be enjoyed warm or cold; reheating enhances the cheese melt.
