In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the unsalted butter and smooth peanut butter together, stirring frequently until fully combined.

Add mini marshmallows to the melted mixture and stir continuously until the marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.

Remove the saucepan from heat, then fold in the crispy rice cereal until the mixture evenly coats the cereal.

Transfer the mixture to an 8x8 inch pan lightly coated with cooking spray or butter, pressing gently into an even layer. Allow to sit at room temperature for at least 2 hours to set.
