Golden honey-toffee fingers with crisp edges and a tender center, ideal as a delicate sweet bite.

# What You'll Need:

→ Dairy & Sweeteners

01 - 3.5 oz unsalted butter, softened
02 - ½ cup white sugar (3.1 oz)
03 - 3 tbsp honey or 2 tbsp golden syrup

→ Dry Ingredients

04 - 1.4 cups all-purpose flour (6.1 oz)
05 - 2 tsp vanilla powder or extract
06 - ½ tsp baking powder

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Set oven temperature to 356°F. Line a baking tray with non-stick parchment paper.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened butter and sugar until light and smooth.
03 - Add flour, vanilla, baking powder, and honey or syrup to the creamed mixture. Stir until fully combined forming a soft dough.
04 - Divide dough into three equal portions. Roll each portion into a long log and position them on the prepared baking tray with spacing to allow spreading.
05 - Press each log gently with fingertips to approximately ½ inch thickness.
06 - Place tray in the oven and bake for 12 to 14 minutes, or until edges achieve a golden color.
07 - While still warm, slice each log diagonally into finger-sized strips using a sharp knife. Allow cookies to cool completely on the tray before serving.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Slicing warm ensures clean edges and maintains softness in the center.
