Turkey Melt Cheddar Bacon (Printer-Friendly Version)

Toasted sourdough with cheddar, turkey, bacon, spinach, and tomato offers a satisfying, hearty flavor combination.

# What You'll Need:

→ Sandwich Components

01 - 4 slices sourdough or thick-cut crusty bread
02 - 2 tablespoons honey mustard
03 - 2 slices white cheddar cheese, halved
04 - 4 slices deli turkey breast
05 - 1 medium red tomato, thinly sliced
06 - ½ cup fresh baby spinach leaves
07 - 4 strips cooked bacon
08 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Lay the slices of sourdough bread on a clean surface and evenly spread ½ tablespoon of honey mustard on one side of each slice.
02 - Place a half-slice of white cheddar cheese on each bread slice. Then, add two slices of deli turkey breast onto two of the slices.
03 - Arrange thin slices of red tomato and ¼ cup of fresh baby spinach leaves over the turkey-covered bread slices.
04 - Place two strips of cooked bacon on the remaining cheese-covered slices and close each sandwich by matching with the turkey and vegetable layers.
05 - Spread ½ tablespoon of softened unsalted butter on the outer sides of each sandwich slice to ensure golden browning.
06 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Grill the sandwiches for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
07 - Remove sandwiches from the skillet and serve immediately with your preferred accompaniments.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Use freshly sliced white cheddar for better melting and flavor. Adjust cooking temperature to prevent burning the bread before the cheese melts. Leftover turkey works perfectly; increase toasting time if slices are thick.
