Virgin Island Breeze Cocktail (Printer-Friendly Version)

Tropical citrus and berry flavors swirled over ice and garnished for a vibrant, refreshing mocktail experience.

# What You'll Need:

→ Juices and Base

01 - 2 ounces orange juice, pulp free
02 - 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
03 - 2 ounces pineapple juice, not from concentrate
04 - 1 ounce pure cranberry juice
05 - 0.5 ounce grenadine syrup, preferably pomegranate based

→ Finish and Garnish

06 - 2 ounces club soda or lemon-lime soda
07 - 1 fresh pineapple wedge, for garnish
08 - 1 maraschino cherry, for garnish
09 - Ice cubes

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Fill a hurricane or tall glass halfway with ice cubes to maintain temperature and facilitate layering.
02 - Pour orange juice, followed by lemon juice, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice into the glass in order, allowing each to settle for a sunset effect.
03 - Slowly pour grenadine around the inside edge of the glass so it drifts through the juice blend without stirring, preserving vivid layers.
04 - Gently add club soda or lemon-lime soda, pouring down the inside of the glass or over a spoon to maintain the layered presentation. Stop when the fizz reaches near the brim.
05 - Garnish with a wedge of fresh pineapple and a maraschino cherry, placing them on the rim or skewered on a cocktail pick. Serve immediately for the brightest color and taste.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For optimal presentation, chill the glass before assembly and pour juices slowly to achieve a clear gradient.
02 - Mix all juices and grenadine ahead of time and refrigerate up to two days, adding soda and garnish just before serving.
03 - To modify sweetness or reduce sugar, use less grenadine or opt for unsweetened juices.
