Banana Pudding Brownies Delight (Printer-Friendly Version)

Decadent fudgy brownies layered with creamy banana pudding and crunchy vanilla wafers.

# What You'll Need:

→ Brownie Base

01 - 1 box Ghirardelli brownie mix (pre-packaged)
02 - ¼ cup vegetable oil
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - ⅓ cup water

→ Banana Pudding Cheesecake Swirl

05 - 1 cup whole milk
06 - 1 large egg
07 - 225 grams cream cheese, softened
08 - 1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana cream pudding mix (prepared without following package liquid instructions)

→ 'Nilla Wafer Topping

09 - 1 cup crushed 'Nilla wafers (approximately 30 wafers)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Combine the brownie mix, 2 eggs, ⅓ cup water, and ¼ cup vegetable oil in a large mixing bowl. Stir until the batter is smooth and uniform. If included, add the chocolate syrup packet and mix thoroughly.
02 - In a separate large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add 1 cup whole milk and 1 egg, then blend until fully incorporated. Gradually whisk in the banana pudding mix until the mixture is thickened and creamy.
03 - Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper and spray lightly. Pour half of the brownie batter evenly into the pan and smooth the surface.
04 - Drop dollops of the banana pudding cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter layer. Sprinkle a generous layer of crushed 'Nilla wafers on top.
05 - Pour the remaining brownie batter over the pudding and wafers. Add remaining dollops of the banana pudding cheesecake mixture on top. Using a knife or skewer, swirl the pudding and brownie batter layers to create a marbled effect.
06 - Sprinkle additional crushed 'Nilla wafers evenly over the top. Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until the center is set but still fudgy. Avoid overbaking to maintain moist texture.
07 - Allow the baked bars to cool completely in the pan. Lift out using parchment and cut into 12 to 16 squares. Serve as is or with optional ice cream or whipped cream.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Do not overbake; brownies lose their fudgy texture if baked too long.
