07 - Ice, for serving

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Thinly slice the large orange into 6 to 8 rounds.
02 - In a large pitcher, gently muddle the blackberries and sage leaves to release their juices and oils without turning to pulp.
03 - Add the orange slices and orange juice to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
04 - Pour in the dry red wine and brandy, then stir the mixture thoroughly.
05 - Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
06 - Fill glasses with ice, pour sangria over, and include fruit slices in each serving.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Gently muddle to avoid bitterness from over-pressed sage. Use a dry red wine for best results. Add ice just before serving to maintain flavor balance.
