Fun Polar Bear Oreos (Printer-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Cookies

01 - 36 regular Oreo cookies (4.3 oz / 121.9 g)

→ Candy Coating

02 - 12 oz white candy melts (340 g)
03 - 72 candy eyeballs
04 - 1 tablespoon black cookie frosting

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Line a cookie sheet or cooling rack with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
02 - Separate 72 candy melts into two groups of 36. Set one group aside. Cut each candy melt in the first group in half to create ear pieces.
03 - Place the remaining candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat at 50% power for 1 minute, stir, then continue heating in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring until smooth and fully melted, up to 5 minutes.
04 - Using a fork or candy dipper, fully coat each Oreo in the melted candy. Allow excess to drip off before placing cookies on the prepared parchment.
05 - While the coating is soft, press a whole candy melt onto the lower half of each Oreo for the snout. Place two candy eyeballs above the snout and position two candy melt halves on each side as ears.
06 - Let the cookies sit approximately 10 minutes until the coating hardens.
07 - Pipe a small nose onto each snout with black cookie frosting. Allow the cookies to rest an additional 5 minutes before serving.
