10 - 2 tablespoons milk

→ Decoration

11 - 24 chocolate kisses (Hershey’s or similar)
12 - 24 round chocolate wafer cookies or thin chocolate cookies
13 - 1/2 cup chocolate frosting (store-bought or homemade)
14 - Halloween-colored sprinkles (orange, purple, green, black)
15 - Gel food coloring (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl; set aside.
03 - Beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 2 to 3 minutes.
04 - Add the egg, vanilla extract, and milk to the creamed mixture; mix until smooth.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
06 - Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls, place them spaced on the prepared baking sheet, and flatten slightly with your hand or the back of a spoon.
07 - Bake cookies for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are set and centers remain soft. Remove from oven and cool completely on a wire rack.
08 - Spread a small amount of chocolate frosting on top of each cooled cookie, then press a chocolate wafer gently onto the frosting to create the hat base.
09 - Apply a dab of frosting onto the bottom of each chocolate kiss and press it onto the center of the wafer forming the witch hat's tip.
10 - Pipe colored frosting around the base of the kiss and sprinkle festive Halloween-colored decorations for a vibrant finish.
11 - Allow the assembled cookies to rest at room temperature until the frosting firms, approximately 30 minutes.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Use gel food coloring to tint frosting for vibrant decoration. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
