Combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl. Stir until smooth and evenly blended.

On a lightly floured surface, roll the pie crust to approximately 1/8 inch thickness.

Cut out circles roughly 4 inches in diameter from the rolled dough.

Place about one tablespoon of the pumpkin filling in the center of each circle. Fold dough over filling and press edges with a fork to seal securely.

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pasties on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush each with beaten egg wash.
