Turkey Cheddar Lunch Roll Ups (Printer-Friendly Version)

Soft tortillas with cream cheese, turkey, lettuce, and cheddar create a flavorful handheld meal.

# What You'll Need:

→ Dairy & Spreads

01 - 4 tablespoons flavored or plain cream cheese, softened

→ Meat

02 - 6 slices deli turkey

→ Cheese

03 - 4 slices cheddar cheese

→ Produce

04 - 1/2 cup shredded lettuce or fresh spinach
05 - 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)

→ Bakery

06 - 2 large flour tortillas

→ Seasonings

07 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, salt, and black pepper until smooth and evenly mixed.
02 - Lay one flour tortilla flat on a clean surface and evenly spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the entire surface to the edges.
03 - Sprinkle half of the shredded lettuce over the cream cheese, then place 3 slices of turkey and 2 slices of cheddar cheese on the left side of the tortilla, leaving a small margin from the edge.
04 - Starting from the filled side, roll the tortilla tightly but gently until fully rolled. Press the seam firmly to seal the roll-up, adding additional cream cheese if needed.
05 - Repeat the process with the second tortilla and remaining ingredients. Use a sharp knife to cut each roll into 10 bite-sized pinwheels, removing any unfilled ends if desired.
06 - Arrange the pinwheels on a serving platter and serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

# Additional Tips:

01 - To prevent roll-ups from falling apart, roll tortillas tightly and use cream cheese as a sealing agent.
02 - Whipped cream cheese can be used for easier spreading.
03 - For added flavor, consider herb-flavored cream cheese or add-ins such as sliced tomatoes, avocados, or olives.
04 - Gluten-free tortillas can be substituted to make this dish gluten-free.
